Clear your diaries for Friday 7 August, as the IER Awards 2020 will be heading to a screen near you!
After careful consideration, the organisers of the IER Awards have made the difficult decision to not host a physical event in 2020 but are excited to reveal the plans for the scheme’s first ever virtual awards presentation, which will take place on Friday 7 August.
Event & sales manager Linda Dorling comments on this decision: “While we are of course disappointed that we can’t bring the electrical retailing sector’s very best together in one room for an afternoon of celebration, we have made this decision with the health and safety of everyone involved as our number one priority. With that being said, we are an industry that is constantly at the forefront of innovation – and we are confident that moving the event into the digital sphere is the right decision in the current circumstances.
“We appreciate all of the time and effort that has already been invested into this year’s awards – from those that carefully put together incredible submissions, through to the voters and our amazing panel of judges – and want to make sure that those that have been selected as winners get their well-deserved moment in the spotlight.”
Linda continues: “I am excited to be able to invite every single industry professional to join us for the first virtual IER Awards ceremony on Friday 7 August.”
No pre-registration is required for the live-streamed ceremony; those that wish to be a part of it are invited to simply log on to the IER Awards from 4pm on Friday 7 August, sit back and enjoy the show.
