CMS260 Combination Microwave with Steam

Versatility is key with Caple’s new innovative combination microwave with steam, the CMS260, in their Sense Premium collection. This revolutionary, built-in appliance enables you to steam, grill, bake and microwave your food simply. New touch controls make this microwave even more easy to use, thanks to an intuitive interface. However, what makes this model even more impressive is that it’s also Wi-Fi enabled, so you can control a variety of settings via the new Caple Home app, which has been specifically designed for the UK market, using your smartphone or tablet.

We have added the CMS260 to our Sense Premium collection to meet multiple cooking needs for the homeowner, within just one appliance in the kitchen. This state-of-the-art model, not only allows you to use steam to prepare fresh food, which will retain all the nutrients, but you can also benefit from all the capabilities you would expect from a luxury microwave oven. The fact that this appliance is Wi-Fi enabled adds yet another string to its bow.

This combination microwave and steam oven joins Caple’s new pyrolytic oven in the same collection, the C2600 with a stylish black glass, gunmetal and stainless-steel finish available. The CMS260 has 14 functions including Steam+. With this programme, the temperature ranges from 40-100°C and has an automatic setting duration of 20 minutes. However, it’s even more versatile, as you can set the cooking time to suit your needs, from 1 minute to 9 hours 59 minutes.

Other highlights include the microwave combi and steam setting, so you can benefit from the steam function, with a temperature which rises to 100°C, then the microwave and steam functions will then alternate to leave you with perfectly cooked food every time. So you get the benefit of speed cooking in the microwave but keep the moisture with the steam. Don’t forget the descale function, which is so useful for hard water areas. You simply pour the descaler into the water tank, select this function and let the machine do the rest. You should find you’ll only need to use this, every three months, however hard the water is in your area.
