David Bostock

David Bostock is the Refrigeration Director for Integral UK Ltd managing operations in Industrial, Commercial and Retail Refrigeration throughout the UK & Ireland.

David has been in the industry for over 35 years, starting as an apprentice with Findus in Grimsby, and subsequently working for Star Refrigeration, Morris & Young, and GEA in various design, project management and senior management roles and positions. David joined Integral in 2015 to set up a new Industrial Refrigeration Division. His role with Integral now includes Industrial, Commercial and Retail refrigeration operations along with specialist HVAC projects.

David is a Fellow of the Institute of Refrigeration, a past Chairman of ACRIB and currently a Trustee and Executive Council Member for the IoR.

Krystyna Dawson

Krystyna is currently Business Manager at BSRIA. She is leading a series of special projects that consider the development of the HVAC markets until 2020 and beyond in view of the new EU legislation and of the worldwide efforts to increase energy efficiency and ensure secure energy supply.

 

Martyn Cooper

Martyn Cooper, Commercial Manager at FETA, joined the Federation in May 2015 after a 37 year long career in the chemical industry. Originally working for ICI within their plastics business, Martyn was involved in the sales and marketing of refrigerants, initially with ICI KLEA and then its antecedents, Ineos Fluor and Mexichem Fluor.  His final position was Regional Sales Manager for Northern Europe.

Martyn’s role now includes supporting various sections within several of the member associations of FETA; BRA, HPA and HEVAC.  He has also been involved in the launch and promotion of the recent BRA Putting into Use Replacement Refrigerants (PURR) report.  Martyn’s future work will include raising the profile of FETA and its member associations and highlighting the benefits of membership of a trade association.

Mike Nankivell

Mike Nankivell has over 46 years experience in the HVAC Industry. Mike is currently President of the HPA (Heat Pump Association) and was previously President of HEVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Manufacturer’s Association), a Fellow and Trustee of the Institute of Refrigeration and a Director of ACRIB (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Board).

An engineer turned marketer, until entering semi-retirement in 2015, Mike was Marketing and Business Development Director of a leading independent Daikin distributor for 16 years, prior to which he was UK Marketing Manager for Carrier Air Conditioning Ltd.

Richard Merritt

Richard Merritt has 25 years’ experience in the industry, having started out as an apprentice with Haden Young. In 2001 he took over the family business AC Solutions Group Ltd as Managing Director – a role in which he continues to date. Established in 1982, celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, the company specialises in the supply, installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems for all types of environments.

Richard is Hertfordshire Branch Chairman of BESA for the second time as well as a member of the BESA specialist RACHP group executive committee.

He is also a member of the Institute of Refrigeration, Licentiate at the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and Engineering Technician at the Engineering Council.

Richard is keen to stay at the forefront of industry technological developments and skills training.

Roger Borer

Roger Borer has over 45 years’ experience working in refrigeration engineering, retail engineering, services/construction project management and general business management. He is an experienced senior manager and director with an excellent track record for the successful delivery of large and complex business critical projects.

He has worked in both end user and contracting environments, including 31 years’ service with J Sainsbury plc. More recently he has operated his own management consultancy, Roger Borer Management Services where his activities as an independent business advisor and non-executive Director have involved him with a variety of refrigeration contracting, design, manufacturing, project management and online business directory organisations. He is currently Executive Officer for the Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA).

Roger has a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies and is a Fellow of the Institute of Refrigeration.
